From your bill to a real quote in three steps
See your savings
Enter your ZIP, your electric utility and last month's bill. You get a yearly savings range built on your utility's rates and how it credits solar. No phone number needed.
Ask for a quote call
Only if you want one. Add your address and contact details, and we pass them to one verified local installer.
Get your real price
The installer looks at your roof, shade and usage, then quotes the installed price and your payback. Free, with no obligation to buy.
A quote without the sales scramble
Two things help before you talk to a solar company: knowing what solar is worth for your home, and having one installer to ask.
Verified installers only
Every installer is licensed and checked before they get a request. How we check
Your number before any sales call
You see your own savings estimate first, from your utility's rates, so you know what a fair quote should look like.
Check them yourself too
Our guides show how to look up any solar company's license in your state before you sign anything.
Free and private
Checking your estimate shares nothing, not even your name. The quote call is free, with no obligation.
Pick your state
Solar pays differently in every state and with every utility. Each state page covers its utilities, its rules and its guides.
Know what a good deal looks like
Check a solar company
Look up the license, know the sales rules, and spot the pitches to walk away from.
Judge a quote
Price per watt, what should be in writing, and the loan fees that hide in the total.
Before you check your number
Is the estimate a quote?
It's an estimate built from your bill, your utility's rates and the sun where you live. For exact pricing, request a free quote call: a local installer looks at your actual roof, shading and panel layout.
Who will contact me?
Only the installer we pass your request to, and only if you ask for a quote call. Checking your estimate doesn't share your details with anyone.
What does it cost?
Nothing. The estimate and the quote call are free, and there's no obligation to buy.
Which states does Sunprint cover?
Florida and Texas. The calculator knows 52 Florida utilities and 83 Texas utilities and delivery areas, from FPL and Duke Energy to Oncor, CenterPoint and Austin Energy, and your ZIP code tells it which state you're in.
What do you do with my information if I request a quote?
It goes to one verified local installer, who uses it to set up your quote call.
Is there still a federal solar tax credit?
Not for home systems. The 30% federal credit doesn't apply to home systems finished after December 31, 2025, so a quote that still subtracts it is out of date.
See your number, then decide.
Free, about a minute, and built on your utility's real rates.
